How do I know if hypnosis for quit smoking will work for me or not ?

It may not work if:

  • You have serious mental conditions
  • You are not really wanting to quit, or you are being forced into it by someone else
  • You are not willing to make some potential small efforts for a few days as some people experience a short transition period
  • You struggle to let go or follow instructions from others
  • You do not believe in hypnosis and you made a decision it will not work for you

FAQs About Other Quit Smoking Methods:

NRT (Patches, Gum, Inhalers):

Nicotine replacement therapy (gum, patches, etc.) has been proven by independent scientific studies to produce much lower success rates than some other methods. Not only is it not successful to use this method, but there are many negative potential side effects, such as: nausea and indigestion, itching and redness of the skin, and nightmares. Our method is completely safe annd works.

Zyban/Champix and other medications:

Numerous health studies (including the National Health Services) have shown that some of these are completely ineffective unless combined with other psychological intervention-for example, hypnosis. It also is shown in their own documentation that the success rate is not as high as some other methods. Which is why I get various clients that come to me and quit after having unsuccessfully tried those methods (not mentioning the horrible side effects some had to suffer from).

If you want to get very scared read the side effects I am sure you will not be so keen to try do that any more. And I have seen people who suffered nasty side effects.

Support Groups:

If they are free well why not see if it works for you. I know personally I would rather get it over and done with from home instead of many meetings but if you want to you can try and see if it does anything for you. What I do not like about is that it reinforces the idea that it will be hard to quit by making it sound like it is some big thing and you need to commiserate, and that makes people keep a mindset which is not helpful, in my opinion.
